70 SS-454 tribute! $10,000 motor, clean Texas body.

Restored as a 1970 SS 454 tribute. A genuine 70 SS 454 in excellent shape would bring over $100,000 easily. This is half price. It makes a great driver. It looks the part, has $10,000 rebuilt motor, solid Texas body.

EXTERIOR: The body appears to have clean metal. Quarters look to be original, door bottoms are clean, fenders are clean. It has been fitted with an SS hood, 1970 headlights, grill and bumpers. It's painted the most desirable colors of cranberry red with black stripes and no vinyl top. It is glossy and catches your eye but it is not a pristine paint job. Front bumper is a bit worn. Rear bumper is shiny with correct SS pad. Door weatherstrips are new. 1970 SS wheels were spray painted.

INTERIOR: Overall good shape. It features factory SS dash with tachometer and bucket seats with a console. The heater control panel is real nice, it has a cassette stereo and a deluxe wheel. The seats were reupholstered with cloth inserts for comfort. Door panels were replaced. Headliner was replaced. The car originally had a/c so the vents and controls are there.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: $10,000 engine build receipt from just 4 years ago. It has a new set of aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake and carb, electric choke, HEI ignition and powder coated headers. It's dressed up with a set of Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers. Features include power steering and power brakes. It is a factory air conditioned car. The firewall box is there, missing other components.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT:

UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor is still fresh Chevy orange, has a high torque starter. It's hooked up to a Turbo 400 automatic and a 12 bolt posi rear end. The front end looks like it's been rebuilt. The ball joints, pitman arm, sway bar, tie rods, shocks have been replaced. In back it has a swaybar, custom boxed control arms, replaced shocks. The exhaust was recently replaced from the mufflers back, has SS tips. Disc brakes in front, drum in back. The floors look real clean, I don't see any patches.

Don't snooze, this car won't last at this price. It's a tribute to the poster child of muscle cars at an affordable price!
