Frame off restored. 406-540 hp, 4 spd. Show quality!

This was somebody's baby. He owned this car 25 years. His wife described him as a perfectionist and he spent a ridiculous amount of time and money giving this car a complete body off frame restoration. It is as slick as they get, very dialed in.
Included is the original glovebox pouch which includes a window sticker, manuals, paid receipt when new and more. It was born a red LT Rally Sport loaded with options.

EXTERIOR: Stunning! Painted in 2003 but his wife said the car visited the body shop immediately if there was even a nick to be corrected. Every square inch is straight as a rifle. No rust or damage at all, the panels fit precisely. The paint is red glass. Really, it has a finish polished like a mirror. It is an original Rally Sport which gives it an extended grill, split bumpers and relocated turnsignals. This car also came with the deluxe exterior trim group, sport mirrors and a vinyl top. It also has spoilers and a cowl hood. All the trim, bumpers, grill etc are mint. Highly polished 15 inch wheels on staggered size tires, fatter in back. The jambs are slick, weatherstrips and window seals are replaced.

INTERIOR: Very tidy inside. The seats have been perfectly recushioned and custom upholstered. The console was upholstered to match. The door panels, plastic trim, headliner and visors are mint. New dash pad fits perfectly. It has the deluxe woodgrain trim and a complete set of the factory gauges. The clock was upgraded to quartz movement. There's also an extra set of Sport Comp water, oil and volt gauges. The tilt column has a cushion grip steering wheel. It also features power windows and rear defogger. The carpets fit very snug and there's a set of embroidered floormats.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow! Show quality for sure. Performance small block was built by Somer's Racing. It's a 406 roller motor dyno tuned at 560 hp and 532 lbs of torque! There's less than 1,000 miles since built. It has Edelbrock Victor Jr aluminum heads, a highly polished aluminum intake intake, dual feed Holley carb with Aeromotive fuel line. In front of the motor it has billet pulleys and serpentine belt, chrome alternator and power steering pump. It has coated Hooker headers and an HEI ignition system. The aluminum radiator is polished like chrome and it has dual electric fans, a Chevy bow tie cap and a polished overflow bottle. There are premium fittings on the ends of the hoses. The brake system is chromed, so are the hinges, support brackets and hood latch assembly. It has a external polished vacuum can because of the performance camshaft. The engine bay is smoothed out and painted glass finish red. The wiper motor has been removed for a clean look.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Carpet has been custom cut with sewn edges and very nicely installed. The battery is relocated to the trunk and it's in a polished battery box. The trunk lid and the jamb are painted slick, the weather strip is replaced.

UNDERSIDE: Bottom of the motor has a high torque starter and an extra capacity anodized oil pan. New Autogear M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed with a Lakewood scatter shield and an 11 inch race clutch. New shift linkage, speedo cable and trans mount. Custom driveshaft with a safety loop. In back is a Ford 9 inch rear completely rebuilt. It has 3.89 posi gears and Dutchman 31 spline axles. It has a Rock Valley polished stainless fuel tank and Aeromotive electric pump and regulator. Upgraded suspension with QA-1 adjustable gas shocks all around. In back it has new mono leaf springs with lowering blocks, hardware and bushings were replaced. The Cal Trac traction bars and swaybar are chromed. Upfront the swaybar and steering components are chromed. The subframe and a-arms are gloss black. The front end is completely rebuilt. It has frame connectors to prevent body twist. The brake system has been completely rebuilt. Has disc in front, e-brake assembly is new. 3 inch welded exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Rust free floors, even behind the rear tires.

When any of us buys a vintage car we can only wish that it's as nice as this one. This car not only looks amazing but it functions just as well. After inspecting the car I know the owner was just as fussy as his wife described him to be. You won't have any regrets buying this one.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
