Air conditioning, ps, pdb, gauges, tilt, am-fm. Frame off restored.

California born and raised. Body off frame restoration to original specs. Very desirable RS-SS with a 427, air conditioning and much more.

EXTERIOR: Clean, straight body. No rust or damage, excellent body gaps. It has a cowl hood and spoilers. Repainted it's original Glacier Blue color. Evenly laid out metal flake and the clear coat is polished like glass. Correct hockey stick stripes. It has the exterior trim package which includes chrome louvers and stainless trim on the gutters and wheel wells. It looks like all of the chrome and stainless trim was replaced. New windshield. Weatherstrips were replaced. It has a new "halo" vinyl top. The Rally Sport headlight doors have electric conversion. The SS wheels are new and have reproduction Polyglass Good Year tires.

INTERIOR: Full of goodies! It has a deluxe wheel on a tilt column. The console has factory gauges. In the dash is a factory tachometer and an Am-Fm radio. The dash area looks great- new dash pad, vents, instrument bezel etc. The upholstery and door panels were replaced. New tight fitting headliner, working domelight. Complete set of original blue seatbelts.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Labeled as a 396 to look authentic. It actually has a 427! 512 casting # and dated 1969. This is a very desirable block used in LS-6 Chevelles, Yenkos, COPOs etc. It's full of features including factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and cowl induction air cleaner. It is restored to look factory new. Fresh Chevy orange, new chrome valve covers, stock manifolds. All the components look new or restored- cadmium plated booster, new alternator, painted brackets, correct fuel filter. New wiring harness, a/c is updated to R134 freeon, new heater control valve, GM hoses, battery is secured etc. I will call this one show quality.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid, rust free metal with a coat of spatter paint. Under the lid and the jamb are gloss blue. New weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. The front end looks like it was rebuilt. The fuel system was replaced including the tank, straps, sending unit and lines. New dual exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers. Rebuilt brakes, has disc in front. E-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it looks fresh, starter looks new. It has a correct 1969 Turbo 400 automatic trans. U-joints were replaced. Correct 12 bolt rear with 3.31 gears.

This is a very nice example of an extremely desirable car. It checks all the boxes!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
