#s match. 58,000 miles, 1 owner 30 years! Exceptional.

This is a fantastic 62 Vette! 1 owner 30 years with 58,000 miles. #s and codes are correct on motor, trans and rear. Very desirable 340 hp with a 4-speed and a posi. Oh yeah, red-red doesn't hurt either.

EXTERIOR: Excellent fit and finishes. I did not find any damage, cracks or previous repairs showing on the body. It is straight and the panels fit real well. The paint has a smooth high gloss finish. The chrome and trim are exceptional. Every piece looks like it was replaced or restored. Even around the windshield is shiny. Windshield looks new. Weatherstrips were replaced. The white convertible top is in excellent shape. The spinner hubcaps look great, it has radial tires.

INTERIOR: Very nicely restored. Correct red/black speckled carpet. Upholstery and door panels were replaced. Dash is excellent- the fiberglass is painted, dash pad fit real nice, gauges are clean. It has a retro stereo in the factory location. All the knobs, handles, armrests look great. Correct lockout shifter, new shift bezel. It has red seat belts. The steering wheel was replaced with a smaller wheel with a leather rim.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: #s matching 327 with the optional 340 hp. The casting codes and dates line up, the matching vin is stamped on the pad. The 340 hp included a solid lifters Duntov cam, high compression, aluminum intake and a 4 barrel carb. They were dressed up with finned aluminum valve covers too. It has correct air cleaner, ignition shielding, deep groove pulleys, choke tube, glass fuel filter etc. Correct radiator, shroud, fan, expansion tank and even the clamps. It is detailed very nicely.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean. It's neatly repainted. The red mat, divider and weatherstrip were replaced.

UNDERSIDE: Someone has been under this car and really cleaned and detailed it up very nicely. All the chassis is smooth, painted with black Por 15. The floors are raw fiberglass in great shape. New stainless dual exhaust with polished mufflers and correct looking tips. The front end components look like they have been rebuilt and detailed. Brakes have new hoses, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it has spotless Chevy Orange paint. Fuel pump and starter look fresh. It has correct canister type oil filter. Correctly dated T10 4-speed trans. The correct rear end has 3.36 posi gears and the axel straps are in place. Overall very clean and proper.

I'm very impressed with the overall condition. $3,000 was just spent getting it dialed in. Electrical system was gone through, locks are now working and carb was rebuilt. This is a keeper. Very desirable features, colors and condition.
