Natalie Wood bought it new! Unabused survivor, loaded with options.

Purchased new by the famous actress Natalie Wood. She bought this car 1 year after her divorce from Robert Wagner. She bought it new at Irv White Buick in Los Angeles CA. Documented with the original warranty booklet which includes her name and address. We also have a letter from the dealer verifying they sold Natalie this car. It was in our museum Star Car collection for 20 years. We sold it 4 years ago to a collector and we just acquired his 25 car collection from his estate. We originally bought it from a woman that owned it for many years.
Overall very well preserved car, unabused!

Many people recognize the 1963 Riviera as the first personal luxury car. It has a great balance of sportiness and luxury.

EXTERIOR: The body is impressive, it's straight with no rust or damage. The panels fit great, the doors click shut. Repainted only 1 time over 25 years ago and it still looks great! Original Desert Sand color is smooth and glossy. It has some flaws including pimples on the hood. Overall shows very well. The glass is very clear and fits real nice. The bumpers look like new. The chrome bits and pieces are very good original. It has remote mirrors on both sides, the power antenna works. The stainless trim is straight. The door weatherstrips were replaced. It has original wire hubcaps and a set of Vogue tires.

INTERIOR: Unabused, it shows very well. It gers it's sportiness from the 4 bucket seats, a center console with floor shifter and a great looking silver ribbed dash panel. It's gets its luxury from all the opointments like power accessories, tilt wheel, Am-Fm and premium finishes and styling. From the original floormats to the headliner it is in exceptional condition. All the interior lights work, the clock has quartz movement, radio plays. The chrome trim and knobs sparkle, the ashtrays are even clean. Nothing is cut, broken or modified.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin number matching 401 nailhead motor makes 325 hp and 445 lbs of torque. It runs smooth and strong. The engine compartment is very complete and proper. Original valve covers and air cleaner. Features include factory air conditioning, power steering and a recently replaced power brake booster and master cylinder. The squirters are hooked up, the original plastic container and the glass bottle are still in place. The battery is secured, horns are hooked up, fan shroud is proper.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The power release works. It has wall to wall liner in real nice shape. Under the tire cover is a bias ply tire that has never been used. It could be the original spare. The original paint under the trunk lid is mint. The weatherstrip is soft.

UNDERSIDE: It looks as dry as a chalk board. The metal floors, braces, inner rockers and quarters are all smooth clean metal with a satin black finish. It has a dual exhaust with glass pack mufflers. It also has the famous Buick big finned drum brakes up front, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. It looks like the shocks and fuel tank have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it is very clean. It has the Super Turbine Dynaflow automatic transmission.

Claude had a full time guy maintaining his cars. He said he wanted to be able to drive any car at anytime. He drove this one to a Concourse D'elegance and won a premier award. This is a good honest car. Stylish and sporty. Celebrity own makes it even that much more interesting.
