Ground up restored, rolling artwork!

Perfect example of champagne tastes on a beer budget. A ground up restored Packard that costs less than most of the Mustangs I sell. It's a very handsome car.

EXTERIOR: Very stylish club coupe. Upfront is the distinguishable Packard grill with chrome louvers and the Goddess of Speed hood ornament. The bullet shape headlights, curvy fenders and a well rounded and proportioned body look great. The 1/4 windows pop out, the rear has a split window. The body is in excellent shape, no rust or damage. It is all metal and it's straight. Rich Loyola Maroon paint has a smooth glossy finish. The rubber seals and fender welts are excellent. The bumpers were rechromed. Restored wheels with correct reproduction tires. The running boards are in excellent shape.

INTERIOR: Very impressive. The upholstery is pretty much flawless. Beautiful Taupe Twill fabric on the seats and door panels. In back it has a set of disappearing jump seats. Pristine Broadcloth headliner. The interior metal has beautifully created woodgrain finishes. The gauges, trim, knobs all look great. It has the optional Handi-shift on the column. Premium grade carpet and matching mats.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Packard's bullet proof 245 cubic inch inline 6 makes a respectable 100 hp. Below the oil bath air cleaner is a correct Carter WA1 carb. It's obviously been apart and restored. Every component looks like new. The wiring, hoses, reproduction clamps, horns, starter, generator are proper. The painted finishes all look smooth and tidy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Carpeted to match the interior. Under the deck is a restored rim with a matching reproduction tire. Under the lid is painted, hinges were restored, weatherstrip was replaced. It looks like new.

UNDERSIDE: Clean frame chassis and floors, smooth satin black. Independent front suspension. Leaf springs in back with lever shocks and a swaybar. It has a correct exhaust with stainless tip. Hydraulic brakes, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor and 3-speed trans it's clean. Under this car is tidy and proper.

It would cost so much more to restore than what we are asking. This is a car you can drive, it runs as good as it looks. Whether you are at a cruise night or restaurant this will be the center of attention. People will really appreciate looking at this one.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
