51,000 mile car, #s match, power steering & brakes.

#s matching. Same owner since 1989, 33 years. Actually, we sold it to him! It had 49,XXX original miles, it now has 50,905 miles. He had the car gone through and restored by Harmony Corvette in 2004. The coupes are more desirable than convertibles. The colors, options and originality make this one special!

EXTERIOR: The body is excellent, original panels. Repainted its original Satin Silver color. The jambs appear to be original paint and weatherstrips in very nice shape. Overall beautiful, only a few minor flaws. The headlights open and close properly. Very desirable knock off wheels. Original glass including windshield helps verify actual miles. All the chrome and stainless trim is very nice. Correct antenna and bow tie mirror. The weatherstrips are soft.

INTERIOR: I love the silver. Aside from mild staining on the silver carpet on driver's floor, it looks practically new. The seats have firm cushions, mint upholstery. Door panels and trim are excellent. Dash pads, gauges, knobs, glovebox door, AM-FM radio, steering wheel are excellent. The console is mint and has the correct lock out shifter. Correct silver seatbelts are excellent. The rear carpet is pristine. Headliner, visors, trim are all excellent. Interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original # matching 327. The motor compartment is restored to look factory new. Correct manifolds, valve covers, carb, ignition etc. The air cleaner lid and ignition shielding are original. It has very desirable power steering and brakes. The cooling system looks nice. Correct radiator, hoses, clamps, original expansion tank. It's detailed very nicely.

UNDERSIDE: It looks practically new underneath. The front end looks like it's been all rebuilt- the ball joints, bushings, springs, shocks and steering components have been replaced. These have independent rear suspension as well; it also looks like it's been a part and restored. The brake system was rebuilt, e-brake assembly is hooked up. The dual exhaust system still looks to be in excellent shape. Looking up at the motor it is still spotless, the fuel pump, starter, lower Ignition shielding, and correct canister type oil filter look right. Correct Muncie 4-speed transmission and original 3.36 ratio rear end. The chassis has been painted and detailed. The fiberglass floors are clean, spare tire carrier is complete.

This is a clean, honest Corvette. The gentleman that owned it all those years is a collector. I've bought 8 of his Corvette's recently.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership. It's an investment grade car.
