AACA national first prize senior award winner. It's one of the best I've seen. Body off frame, nut and bolt restored to factory condition.

EXTERIOR: It probably didn't look this good when it was new. It's all steel, even the optional fender skirts. Every inch of it is straight, no rust or damage. The paint is polished smooth like glass. It is a deluxe which includes extra trim. It also has optional bumper guards and bumper wing tips. All of the chrome was restored or replaced. The running boards have been recovered. All new Ford script glass. Weather strips and seals were replaced. Reproduction Ford script whitewall tires. The wheels are restored and has optional deluxe trim.

INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car right now and it is brand new looking. It's a business coupe which has the fold up jump seats in the back. The seats are upholstered in genuine soft leather. The door panels, headliner and visors have all been reupholstered. Correct rubber mat in front, carpet in back with bound edges. The dash area is completely restored: the gauges, knobs, steering wheel look like new. The wood grain trim around the window frames it's painted beautifully. It has the owner's manual in the glove box. You can even look up under the dash and it's new!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely restored and detailed to show quality. Smooth running flathead V8 motor. Every component looks authentic and like new. It has cloth wrapped wires, correct hoses and clamps and correct Ford battery. Dual trumpet horns. The firewall and under the hood are painted slick.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Painted smooth and glossy. It has correct liner kit and rubber mat. Matching whitewall tire and restored rim. and

UNDERSIDE: It is amazing under this car, every part is smooth and glossy. Body off frame restored. Every component down to the last nut and bolt has been apart and refinished. All the steering, suspension and brakes were rebuilt. Correct exhaust system. The bottom of the body is just as smooth and glossy as the top of the body. The chassis and fuel tank are gloss black.

The 1940 Ford is one of those stand out cars. They were popular then and today. They are a popular choice with hot rodders because of their handsome looks. This is one of the best restored original examples you will find anywhere.
