53,778 mile survivor! #s match, ps, pb. P-O-P.

53,778 actual mile survivor. This is a real SS, #s match throughout and documented with a Protect-o-plate. Original rust-free metal. It has lived in Kentucky, 1 owner for many years. This one is a sweetheart!

EXTERIOR: Original rust free, damage free metal. Square and flush body lines. Only 1 time exterior repaint, jambs look original still. Original Ermine White color, no vinyl top. It has a smooth glossy finish, there are some flaws and chips. All the chrome, moldings, emblems are shiny. Correct rear mount antenna. New vintage style Torque Thrust wheels and BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The red interior really pops. Excellent, unabused condition. Only the carpet and seat upholstery were replaced. The rest is claimed to be original and everything looks great. The seat trim, glovebox, visors etc. all look great. Original instrument area, dash pad, headliner and door panels. Mint console with the original chrome shifter. They did neatly install a gauge cluster and tachometer under the dash. It also has a set of Lloyds embroidered mats.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original born with, #s matching 396-325 hp motor. It has all of it's original components except the carb was replaced. Correct spring clamp battery cables. Very clean and proper. Very desirable power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb have clean original paint! Original weatherstrip and mat. The trunk floor and quarters are clean original metal with a spatter finish. Complete jack and spare assembly.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath this car is very well-preserved original condition. The floors, frame rails and even the lower quarters are a 100% original metal with no rot or rust. The front-end steering and suspension components look good. It has drum brakes all around, the e-brake is hooked up. Dual exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it's clean Chevy Orange, it has the correct canister type oil filter. Original Vin # matching, date coded M20 Muncie 4-speed. The original drive shaft still has original assembly line markings. Original 12 bolt rear end dated July 5th, 3.31 gears.

This is a rare find. Not too often a low mile, unabused SS big block Chevelle becomes available. This is the car true collectors really appreciate.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
