Only 700 miles on a show quality, body off frame restoration. It has a nice mix of vintage style and custom upgrades.

EXTERIOR: Georgia built car; we bought it in Alabama. So, it's always been a clean southern body. The body is clean and straight with no rust or damage. It has the SS bulged hood and emblems. Refinished in a glass finish bright red, no ugly vinyl top. It appears that just about all of the chrome and trim has been replaced. All the weatherstrips and seals are new. It is sitting on a set of new rally wheels and BFG tires.

INTERIOR: The jambs and interior metal is painted as slick as the exterior. From carpet to headliner, it is new. The upholstery, door panels, visors have been replaced. It has embroidered floormats. The dash area is all new: the bezels, dash pad, vents and it is upgraded with a digital set of gauges. It also has a sharp looking cushioned grip steering wheel. There is a retro stereo in the factory location. Down on the floor between the bucket seats is a console with the correct overdrive shift indicator. There are no window cranks, that's because they are power windows!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Have your sunglasses on when you open the hood! Every piece has a high gloss shine. It is actually a correct 1966 396-325 horsepower engine for a 66 Chevelle. I'm sure it's putting out closer to 400 horsepower these days with a little hotter cam, a polished highrise intake, an Edelbrock carb, MSD ignition and some fat coated headers. The front of the motor has a polished True Track system with billet brackets, pulleys, serpentine belt, a mini polished compressor, a polished alternator, chrome water pump and a modern polished power steering system with braided hoses and a remote reservoir. It runs cool with a new radiator, dual electric fans and a polished overflow bottle. It also has a chrome power brake system. All the metal surfaces are painted glossy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the exterior. The inside of the trunk has been boxed and carpeted, it does have compartment doors. There is a CD changer behind one of them. It has a matching rally wheel with a BFG tire for a spare complete with the trim.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for complete restoration. Every component was taken apart, the chassis is all prepped and painted black. The rust free, immaculate floors are so clean they painted them gloss red. The front end steering and suspension look like it was completely rebuilt. It has an upgraded swaybar. In back it has custom boxed control arms and a sway bar. Upgraded KYB gas shocks all around. Beautiful Custom Pypes exhaust system. It is stainless steel polished like chrome with an X-pipe and oval tips. The fuel system has been replaced; the tank is gloss black. All new brake system with upgraded disc brakes in front. Looking up at the motor it still looks spotless, has a chrome starter and flywheel cover. 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans with a finned aluminum pan. New drive shaft, 10 bolt rear end has a chrome cover and according to the code it came with 3.36 gears.

This is a stunning example of a very desirable car. It checks the boxes of what people want!
