Georgia rust free car. Tri-power, rally gauges.

They started with a rust free Georgia Lemans and converted it into a GTO using authentic components. According to the engine code it is a 389 tri-power engine. Most real GTOs don't have rally gauges, rally l wheels or exhaust splitters.

EXTERIOR: Solid Georgia body. It is straight with no rust. It fits square too. There is a crack on passenger quarter panel. The paint looks bright and shiny from 5 feet away. If you look closer, it has many flaws. Rechromed front bumper, original grills are in good shape. The tail panel and rear bumper is very good original. Factory power antenna in back. Power black convertible top is good. The Rally l wheels with reproduction redline tires really dress the car up.

INTERIOR: It has some nice features including a console around the 4-speed, a deluxe wheel and rally gauges. It also has a padded dash in excellent shape. Door panels and upholstery looks great.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Code YR it is an actual 389-360 hp tri-power motor! Stock carbs, manifolds, valve covers etc. It also features power steering. Everything looks proper. Battery is bolted down properly and has a disconnect switch. The metal surfaces are painted smoothly.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Impressive rock-solid original trunk floor. It's spatter painted. Under the trunk lid and jamb are glossy red. It has a jack and spare. Original mat and a tire cover.

UNDERSIDE: The floors are rock solid. Original metal: the braces, rockers, lower quarters are all clean. The dual exhaust as the chrome GTO splitter tips. Overall, everything looks to be in proper order. It was maintained as needed. Drum brakes all around, e-brake is hooked up. Brake hoses have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it's clean. It has a Muncie 4-speed transmission.

A number matching restored car that looks just like this just sold for 3 times more than we are asking! I would drive it the way it is, it has great curb appeal. There is no way to tell it's not a GTO by looking at it or driving it. Top down, shifting gears, opening up the 3 carbs sounds like fun!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
