Q: How do I purchase tickets?

A: Tickets are available online.  Tickets are temporarily date and time reserved due to our precautions during COVID

 

Q: Do I have to wear a mask?

A: We do require masks to we worn as well as 6ft social distancing as mandated under the state ordinance.

 

Q: When Will Jurassic Gardens Open?

A: We are opening May 14th

 

Q: Is the park indoors?

A: Most of the park is indoors. There is an outdoor park at the entrance that features a dinosaur themed playground for kids 12 and under as well as some of our biggest dinosaurs. However the main experience is all indoors.

 

Q: What does it cost to visit Jurassic Gardens?

A: General admission is $15.95 and children under 5 are free.  Parking is free.  Please note coupons, discounts and discounted tickets including Groupon are not accepted during special events and some holidays.  Visit our calendar of events or call 815-385-3644 to check validity of your discount. 

 

Q: Is Jurassic Gardens suitable for people with noise sensitivities?

A: Jurassic Gardens is a thrilling experience with moving dinosaurs, dark spaces an loud noises. We recommend those with noise sensitivity bring ear protection. Ear plugs are available for purchase in our gift shop.

 

Q: Is everything shown on your website displayed at the park?

A: Yes, all the items on our website are on display at the park.

 

Q: Is the park handicap accessible?

A: The park is wheelchair-accessible. We do have handicap restrooms. Wheelchairs are available for rent for $10.

 

Q: Do you need advanced reservations?

A: Advanced reservations are only required for groups of 15 or more. Otherwise you can purchase tickets on location or buy them in advance by Clicking Here.

 

Q: What are your hours?

A: We are open year round and daily from 10 - 5. Our last admittance is 4:00 PM.  We close Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We close early Christmas Eve and New Years Eve at 3:00. Open normal hours on all other holidays.

 

Q: Why don't you allow admittance after 4:00?

A: We don't allow admittance after 4:00 to prevent our guests from having less than the minimum time required to walk through the park. 

 

Q: Do you allow outside food or beverages?

A: For your convenience we have pizza and snack items available at our Show Biz Lunch Place. Due to health code regulations we only allow outside food and beverage in our diner for infants. We do have outside picnic areas when weather is permitting.

 

Q: Do you have any interactive displays?

A: Yes, Jurassic Gardens features a dinosaur fossil dig and a hands on laboratory.

 

Q: Do you allow pets inside?

A: No, generally, pets are not allowed on premises. Service animals are allowed.

 

Q: How do we get to Jurassic Gardens?

A: We are located at 27582 Volo Village Rd, Volo IL, 60073; only 10 miles west of I 94. We are also located only 4 miles away from the Fox Lake Metra Station. Cab Service is available from Metra to Volo Auto Museum.  To arrange a cab call Fast Cab 847-740-4444
