Volo Museum Reopening May 14th 

We know you've been waiting for our reopening plan and we are finally confident in rolling the plan out!  As long as Illinois is in phase 4 or greater and any unforeseen circumstances we plan to open our doors May 14th! 

Jurassic Gardens Opening May 14th 

We are excitied for the opening of our new dinosaur park!  The same restrictions and guidelines for the museum will also be inforced at Jurassic Gardens. *Because of the limited capacity of Jurassic Gardens, tickets must be purchased on-line and will be date and time slot sensitive.

Masks Must Be Worn 

Yes, masks must be worn.  This is a regulation by the state of Illinois. Masks and social distancing will be required to visit the museum.  You may remove your masks in outdoor spaces when social distancing is possible.  If you are uncomfortable or refuse to wear a mask, we look forward to you visiting in the future when this restriction is lifted.

Not all of the museum will be operating

Due to Covid-19 we will not be operating our train tours.  Our food will remain closed until further notice. Your wristbands allow you access to come and go, there are local dining options.  Our kiddie rides and games will remain open and will be sanatized daily.  Our playgrounds will be open but will not be sanatized, play at your own risk.

Memberships will be extended for the time lost due to the closure

All annual membership purchases will be extended to ensure everyone receives their full 12 months.


What you need to know about your on-line ticket purchases

Tickets purchased from through Etix do not expire. If you would like a refund for an Etix purchase, you can obtain one by contacting Etix customer support at 800-514-3849.

If you purchased tickets from any other third-party vendor such as Groupon, Tripadvisor, etc., you will need to contact that vendor directly. Each has its own policy and procedure. Our staff members are unable to assist with these purchase queries.
