This Aston Martin Vanquish is an impostor! Built as a stunt car for James Bond, “Die Another Day”, it is actually a Jaguar. Many people do not realize but at the time of this movie Ford owned both Aston Martin and Jaguar, which both share the same platform as a Mustang. For the movie, stunt versions of the Aston Martin were built using both Mustang and Jaguar chassis with fiberglass replica bodies.Volo Auto Museum acquired this car at auction. Authentication includes documentation from the production company.
