Knight Rider
Get ready to be transported back in time to the world of Knight Rider! The Volo Museum is currently showcasing a stunning car that is sure to leave you in awe. This isn't just any car, it's the iconic KITT from Knight Rider, one of the most popular cars in TV history.KITT was a car that was ahead of its time, packed with science fiction AI and the latest cutting-edge technology. It was driven by none other than David Hasselhoff, who played the iconic Michael Knight in the hit TV series. The car was equipped with a range of features that made it the ultimate supercar of its time.
Some of the amazing features included radar and sonar capabilities, audio/visual in-dash functions, DNA analysis equipment, targeted electromagnetic pulse, military-grade GPS, 3D heads-up display, laser weapons system, holographic projection, keyless entry and ignition, personal safety system, nanotech cloaking, 360-degree video surveillance, laser-guided missile defense, mini-KITT reconnaissance drone, in-seat medical diagnosis, and biometric analysis.
Only 5 KITT cars survived the series, and while this particular KITT isn't one of them, it's still a piece of automotive history. Built by Mark Scricani of Marks Custom Kits in 1991, this promotional car was created from original production designs to promote his business of reproduction KITT accessories.
This KITT car has an incredible history, having previously been part of the George Barris Star Car Collection and was autographed by George himself. George Barris worked on KITT during the later seasons of the Knight Rider production, adding to the car's impressive legacy.
So, if you're a fan of Knight Rider or just love incredible cars, then you don't want to miss this opportunity to see this amazing KITT car up close and personal at the Volo Museum. It's a true masterpiece of automotive engineering and technology that's sure to leave you breathless!
