"Trump Executive Series" limo factory built by Cadillac

In 1987 Cadillac manager John Grettenberger and Donald Trump partnered on the idea of offering a "Trump Edition" limousine as a new offering available exclusively through Cadillac. Dillinger Coachwork was the chosen coach-builder to mass produce what was supposed to be the worlds most luxurious limo. Dillinger built the two prototype models, the Trump Golden Edition and the Trump Executive Edition which were unveiled at the Limousine and Chauffeur Show . The Golden Edition was slightly more lavish than the Executive Edition with its gold-lined Vogue tires and extra gold trim. Both cars were identically equipped with an electronic bar, 3 phones, TV and VCR, raised roof for extra headroom, paper shredder, fax machine, Trump insignia's and more.

With only the two prototypes built, the project was scrapped. Donald Trump bought both cars, one for himself and the other for his father. This was the first attempt to brand a product with the Trump name.
