Over $100,000 invested. Extreme quality!
Over $100,000 invested in this masterpiece. It is a pro street which means it's built to drive but will also pull the wrinkles put of your face when you mash the pedal. It has 1,400 miles on it since finished, one venture was about 80 miles round trip to a show. Speaking of shows this would compete with the best of them. The quality of the build and the final finish is outstanding.MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Gorgeous! Meticulously detailed, I mean it's spotless. Has a 421 motor with 525 hp.
I just learned it costs about $9,000 to build a small block into a 421. It has aluminum heads, intake, water pump and sharp looking valve covers. Has HEI ignition, giant Holley carb, high torque starter and headers. Big polished aluminum radiator, overflow bottle and hoses. The inner fenders are actual carbon fiber, hood hinges are billet aluminum, steering linkage is all custom. Roll bar ties into the front end.
THE EXTERIOR: Phenomenal paint and body. It is so slick a fly couldn't land on it. It is literally laser straight and has a glass finish on every square inch of the body. Even the jambs are slick and the 2 tone scheme with the stripe continues. Has cowl hood, the bottom is as shiney as the top. All of the chrome and trim is show quality. All tinted glass. Has polished Billet Specialties wheels with Mickey Thompson tires.
INTERIOR: It is restored to the same high standard as the exterior. Has custom bucket seats with orange stitching, very well crafted roll cage with easy in and out access. New carpeting, door panels, dash pad, headliner. Dash area is beautifully painted, has custom gauges and a polished tilt column with custom steering wheel. There is a CD player hidden in the glovebox and a TCI Outlaw shifter on the floor.
TRUNK: Is lined and carpeted. Has a polished fuel cell and battery relocated to the trunk. The roll bar continues from the interior into the trunk.
UNDERSIDE: completely custom, professionally built chassis. It is now a full frame car. The roll cage adds a lot of rigidity as well. This body is tight and handles great. Up front is all new tubular suspension with adjustable coil over shocks and polished rack & pinion steering. In back they did a beautiful job tubbing the wheel wells and reconfiguring the framework. Has narrowed rear end with 3.55 Detroit Locker gears. 4 link tubular rear suspension with adjustable coil over shocks. There are drilled and slotted disc brakes at all 4 corners.
CONCLUSION: This car is built incredibly well. It's a top show car, it's a driver, it's fast!
