Meticulous, factory correct frame off restoration!
This an extremely rare, documented Ram Air IV, 4-speed GTO with 21 options. 549 made. #s match throughout, has a factory SR (service replacement) block (9799915). Body off frame restored to its original factory condition. It is exactly as it was born, same exact colors and options.HISTORY: Only 3 owners with 55,000 actual miles. Less then 100 miles on restoration. 1st owner bought It new at Lawless Pontiac. He drove it until 1979 and that was the last time it was plated (includes that plate). 2nd owner was a collector and stored the car 30 years. We just purchased from 3rd owner whom had the no expense spared restoration done. Has original build sheet and Pontiac Historical Society verification.
MECHANICS: Has the expensive correct Ram Air IV parts including carb (7040273), distributor (1112011), intake (9799084) and heads (614). Vin # matched M-21 trans and original 3.90 posi rear. Mechanicals rebuilt by professionals with receipts. Rebuilt motor is actually 450 hp. Rebuilt trans, Hurst linkage. Rebuilt suspension. Many new or restored parts- brakes, shocks, gas tank, starter, and more. 5 new Wide Oval reproduction tires.
EXTERIOR: All new glass, trim, rubber etc. Has a mint body with a show quality paint. Beautiful Palisades green color, only 1 other has gone for sale in the last 10 years. Restored wheels, new vinyl top, slick jambs.
INTERIOR: Meticulously restored from carpet to headliner. All Legendary upholstery. Dash was sent out and professionally restored at a cost of $1,531 plus labor. New Formula steering wheel.
UNDERSIDE: Meticulously restored and detailed. The entire chassis was restored seperate from the body. Has correct factory tags on suspension, correct colors and finishes. Even the oil filter is a correct AC Delco, has correct spiral shocks and correct stencil on gas tank..
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Meticulously detailed and restored to factory specs. Has correct finishes and colors. Cadium plated brake booster, GM hoses and clamps, proper functional ram air, proper heat riser tube etc. Even has the factory stickers.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean metal with a nice coat of spatter finish paint. Has restored Rally II wheel on New Wide Oval tire for a spare. Restored jack and new mat.
