Frame off restored- a/c, p. steering & brakes!

Body off the frame restoration. Real Super Sport, factory air conditioning, factory red car. Has new 350, correct 4-speed and a posi! Original # match 327 is available.

EXTERIOR: First impression this SS looks brand new. Beautiful glass finish in it's factory code 922- ember red. The body is awesome. The hood, doors and trunk fit square and flush. Even with the windows rolled up the doors shut like new, that's hardly the case in a convertible. Windows fit the top nice. Upfront all the chrome, stainless, grill and emblem has either been replaced or restored. Has four reproduction T-3 headlights and optional bumper gaurd. There is a hairline crack in the paint on the front edge of the hood. Looking down either side of the car it is straight. There is no bubbling or issues along the bottoms, the rear wheel well lip is clean and dry. All of the trim, emblems, mirrors, handles look new down the sides. Stainless moldings around the windows is polished. The dual mirrors have the Chevy bowtie, has rear mount antenna and fuel door trim. Trim in back is a combination of new and very nice original. The black convertible top still looks new, the plastic rear window is still crystal clear. The correct SS hubcaps are really nice and are on black painted rims with new looking radial tires. In the door jambs is real nice. Has smooth, clean paint, the latches and screws are cleaned up, weatherstripping and sill plates are new.

INTERIOR: Check out this sporty interior. In between the bucket seats is a console with a 4-speed. Right in front of you is a cool factory tachometer and optional padded dash. Everything across the dash looks great- dash pad, lenses, gauges, knobs etc. Has an aftermarket retro stereo that fits in the factory hole and neatly installed gauge cluster under the dash. Everything appears to be working including interior lights, heater etc. Glove box liner was replaced. The upholstery has been redone in the correct pattern with the chrome buttons. Door panels and carpet have been replaced. Looking up the framework is cleaned and painted, has new pads, visors have been reupholstered, chrome latches are new. Has seat belts in front.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has an upgraded 350 motor with fresh rebuild putting out 375 hp. Extensive headwork-Has 9.25:1 compression, stainless valves, hardened push rods, screw in studs, 2.02 intake valves. Has Comp cam and solid lifters, dual plane intake with 750 Holley. Items replaced- radiator, cap and water pump (doesn't go over 180 degrees, even on hot days). Battery, alternator, voltage regulator, fuel pump, hoses and belts were replaced. Distributor is rebuilt. I would say the motor compartment show quality. It's clean as a whistle and everything looks proper and orderly. Bottom of the hood is gloss black with new insulation. The inner fenders, firewall, core support has a nice smooth satin black finish. All the pulleys, brackets, belts, wiring looks right. Fan shroud and fan are correct, has reproduction radiator hose. Alternator is new, air conditioning has been updated to 134a freon. The battery has a Delco topper to look original, correct spring clamp battery cables and a battery shut. The washer bottle is hooked up, it even has the glass bottle for extra fluid. It has power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The huge trunk compartment has a full size spare and it hardly takes up any room! It also has a restored jack, the tire looks new. It comes with a car cover and fender skirts that are painted to match the car. There is extra touch up paint too. The trunk light works. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted real nice, has new weatherstrip. The entire trunk compartment has a nice clean coat of gray and white spatter finish paint on nice clean metal.

UNDERSIDE: The rebuilt 4-speed is original with correct #s. It is a T-10 with aluminum case. New clutch and pressure plate. Rebuilt 3.70 posi rear end. Front end is rebuilt- new springs, ball joints, bushings, tie rods, stabilizer links. Rear suspension has new springs and bushings. All new brakes and lines, e-brake cables are hooked up. Dual exhaust was very neatly bent to run along the frame. It also looks new underneath. Very clean dry floors are painted satin black. Chassis components and frame were cleaned and painted their proper finishes. Bottom of motor has a spotless coat of Chevy orange, new starter. Trans, linkage looks new. U-joints replaced. Every clip, bolt, bracket is new looking.

This is an impressive car. The options are great, a 4-speed with air in a convertible is very desirable. The condition is fantastic. Not only does it look great but it functions just as well. Someone will be getting a great car!
