Silver Luxury Limited. 30,927 mile survivor, mint!

Silver Luxury Limited Edition. The only way to get these colors was to order luxury options. This is an incredibly well preserved survivor with just 30,927 actual miles! Original paint, exhaust and even the tires. It is from the estate of Don Smith, a big time collector. His collection had 130 cars. We have original literature including 2 build sheets, warranty card and manuals. These big luxury Cadillacs and Lincolns from the 70s are super desirable especially a pristine low mile survivor like this one. Also the good looking cars, they had some not so sharp browns and golds back then. I joked that I bought the car so I could put the front seat in my living room.

EXTERIOR: Extraordinary original condition. The Moondust silver paint is a stunning color. We looked it over pretty close and completely believe it is all original. Even the factory black pinstripe is still excellent. We gently polished it and it has a glossy finish. There is no rust, no damage. Other then a few very minor nicks, the paint looks close to new. All of the chrome and stainless trim is amazing. Glass is crystal clear. Lenses, rub strips on the bumpers, hubcaps are mint. The original padded top is like new, no rust bumps under it. The big chrome grill, hideaway lights, continental trunk and the signature opera windows are really cool features.

INTERIOR: Interior is just about perfect. I love the silver metallic leather. There are some cracks on the drivers door strap, that's it! The rest is like new. Leather is still soft, still has remains from the factory plastic seat covers underneath. Has split bech with armrests, both sides are 6 way power, passenger reclines. Dash area is mint, no cracks. All chrome sparkles. Door panels, headliner are excellent. Has lighted vanity mirrors on visors. Look at the thick plush silver carpet, very retro.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely original, not touched up. In excellent condition considering it is original. All the factory ink stamps, tags and stickers are still in place. Has a big 460 with 4 barrel carb that runs smooth. Fan shroud, air cleaner and all its ductwork, vacuum lines etc is all just as it was when new.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is fully boxed and lined with the same plush carpet as the interior. The spare is the original Michelin with ink stamps still on it. The jack looks like it's never been used, cadmium plating is still bright. Bottom of trunk lid has mint paint, factory decals, assembly line ok stamps and even a sticker with key numbers. Trunk light works.

UNDERSIDE: Never touched up or spray painted. It is completely left original, even the exhaust. The muffler and resonator say Ford. As you would expect, the chassis has some insignificant surface rust. The floors are spotless. The bushings are still good, springs still have factory tags, driveshaft has assembly line paint markings. It would be easy to clean and touch up to look near new again if so desired.

Even super low mile cars can get bumped and bruised, cracked and faded. This one really held up extremely well. I have seen and owned many, this one impressed me. It runs and rides so smooth. A living room on wheels!
