This extremely desirable Y84 special edition has undergone a total nut and bolt body off the frame, professional restoration. Includes a binder full of invoices (over $50,000),literature, Pontiac Historical certification.

EXTERIOR: They started with a rust free car, stripped it down to bare metal and gave it a black paint job that's so slick you could read a newspaper in the reflection. Has all new correct special edition gold decals properly installed. Panels all have excellent alignment, the doors do not drop. The original 15x7 snowflake wheels were completely refinished like new and have BFGoodrich tires. Jambs are slick, new weatherstrips. This car also has the very desirable glass T-tops.

INTERIOR: Inside the car has been restored back to new condition as well. All new deluxe vinyl upholstery with new foam cushions. At great expense the gold machine turned Dash bezel and gold spoke formula steering wheel have been restored. Has an NOS gold shifter button. The door panels and interior trim is all new. Full of accessories like power windows, locks and trunk. Has tilt, cruise, control cycle wipers, and rear defog. The car is very functional. Has stock Am-Fm stereo.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood has been completely restored mechanically and cosmetically to factory specs. The numbers match 403 engine has been completely rebuilt with all new components. The shaker hood scoop is complete with proper duct work. The original pollution pump is hooked up. The air conditioning was upgraded to R134 freon. All the components look proper. It is a show quality engine compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean metal. Has carpet mat. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted glossy.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and the underside was completely restored and detailed. Clean, rust free metal. All new bushings, rebuilt front end. New front and rear suspension. Upgraded Billstein gas shocks in front. Bottom of the motor is spotless, has new starter and inspection cover. Rebuilt, #s match turbo 350 automatic. Has new brakes, brake lines, e-brake cables. New dual exhaust system with correct splitter tips. New fuel tank, sending unit and lines.

This is one of the all time most popular cars, made famous by Smokey and the Bandit. This one is loaded and highly restored. One of the best there is!
