EXTERIOR: Painted 25 years ago and it looks like it was just done. That speaks volumes for the quality of this restoration. It's all metal, very straight, the panels fit square and flush. I don't see any bubbles, cracks or significant issues of any kind. The paint is polished shiny. All the chrome and trim is excellent. Upfront the grill with the running Pony, the bumper and emblems are excellent. The emblems, door handles, dual mirrors, metal door edge guards and trim around the top opening. In back the taillights, gas cap, bumper are excellent. Has GT exhaust tips coming through the valance. It has GT wheels in very nice shape. The windshield was replaced. Windows roll smooth and fit nice. Door jambs are very nice, bottom of the doors are clean, painted nice. New sill plates, weatherstrips and fuzzy window seals. Has a real nice white convertible top.

INTERIOR: It has the pony deluxe interior which includes the running ponies on the seats, molded door panels with the knife handles, deluxe steering wheel and wood grain accents. This car also has deluxe seat belts and pony floor mats. Upgraded with a retro stereo right in the factory hole and it has the optional speakers in the bottom of the doors. All the interior lights work. The dash area is restored- dash pad, knobs, bezels were replaced. Air unit has bright chrome. Overall it's in great shape.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor was completely rebuilt, has an h.o. cam. Carb just rebuilt. New plugs, wires, belts and oil change. Upgraded with Pertronix ignition. Air conditioning was just evacuated and charged. Radiator was flushed, fresh fluid. The compartment was disassembled and detailed. New decals. New battery and Autolite topper. All the finishes are real nice. The inner fenders are straight clean metal painted satin black. Bottom of the hood is yellow, the hinges are gray. The motor is painted nice. Chrome is real bright on the air cleaner and valve covers. It's a detailed motor compartment. Features include air conditioning, power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is all clean metal. Completely painted gloss yellow throughout. It has a 5th matching chrome GT wheel and matching tire for a spare. It also has the trunk mat, jack, decal and weather strip in excellent condition.

UNDERSIDE: C-4 transmission was rebuilt. Fluid just changed, new gasket, pinion seal and shifter bushings. U-joints were replaced. Brakes were just serviced- cleaned and adjusted. Fresh silicone fluid. Fuel was drained. New front end alignment. The owner was a pipe fitter. He hand made the exhaust system from stainless. He even took apart a Flowmaster muffler and duplicated in stainless! The floors, frame rails are all metal. The bottom was recently power washed and detailed. The suspension, rear end were painted correct colors. Fuel tank is shiney. Fuel system was flushed and drained. Shocks, power steering unit, front end, bottom of the motor look fresh.

This is a quality car that is highly optioned. It is truly turn key ready to enjoy. First time offered for sale in over 25 years!
