This is a genuine GS400. 1 of only 785 4-speeds made. Very desirable factory born colors. Very good, honest car with clean metal.

EXTERIOR: Beautiful Twilight blue without a vinyl top. Has a very glossy clear coat finish. Overall the paint is excellent, only a few insignificant flaws. The body looks like it's real clean and straight. All along the lowers it is smooth, no bubbles. Door jambs are painted, weatherstrips and sill plates are new. The chrome is original. I would replate the bumpers eventually. Door handles and wheel well moldings look new. It has original T-3 headlights. The 15 inch Buick wheels and BFG tires look new. They are extra wide, especially in back. It's really a sleak design, looks like it's moving while sitting still.

INTERIOR: Looks to be a good unabused original interior. There is a split in the driver's bottom cushion. Door panels are a little warped. Both are very presentable as-is but warrarant replacing eventually. The carpet has been replaced, glove box liner is new. Instrument panel is in really nice shape, no damage. Knobs, lenses, factory radio are excellent. Interior lights work. Has original Buick tri-shield floor mats. The original headliner is real nice. It does have a tachometer on the column and a couple gauges neatly under the dash. Odometer shows 48,000 miles.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The lower end was replaced with a 455- block, crank, pistons. The upper end is original- heads, intake. The motor was completely rebuilt. It has a 212 cam, 10:1 compression. The motor is detailed. Painted the Buick red, has the proper decals, valve covers. The ram air assembly is complete, even has the heat riser tube going to the manifold and new foam seals. New alternator and upgraded with an HEI ignition system. New 8.5 mm plug wires. New carburetor. Has new aluminum water pump, clutch fan and hoses. Has radiator shroud. Wiper motor has been replaced. The engine bay is all painted real nice, bottom of the hood is painted. The jambs are painted as slick as the car. It features power steering.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Very clean original metal. I dont see any signs of rust or repairs. Inside the 1/4 panels look to be clean original. It has been spatter painted gray and aqua with a durable clear coat finish. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is very glossy, has new weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: Under the car is very nice, it's all been cleaned up and painted very neatly. It looks to have dry, clean metal floors upfront. Has the big finned aluminum brake drums. The front end is rebuilt- ball joints, sway bar bushings, shocks etc. Bottom of the motor is still clean. Has a high torque starter, wrapped in heat tape. The original #s match Muncie 4-speed transmission is spotless. Posi rear end in back. New parking brake cables, new fuel tank, sending unit and straps. It also has the rally suspension which includes sway bars and box control arms. It has has a really nice Borla stainless dual exhaust system. Impressive underneath.

This is a very desirable, honest Buick muscle car. I bet it won't last!
