3,050 actual miles!! This Z-28 is an original survivor that still looks new. It also performs and drives like new. Bought new at Don Maxwell Chevrolet April, 1978. Only 2 owners. Has copy of orginal invoice, cost new $6,145.85

EXTERIOR: The body and paint are amazing considering it's all original. There's no door dings, rust or damage. The body is straight, panels fit square and flush. The paint still has a glossy finish, no cracking or fading. The decals are still real nice. The glass is crystal clear. It has the style trim which includes moldings around the windows, back of the hood etc. All the trim is pristine. The door jambs are still shiny, all the weather strips and window seals are still soft rubber. It has expensive reproduction tires on color matched Z-28 wheels. It also includes the optional aluminum wheels on the original tires, they still look new! Includes original lug nuts.

INTERIOR: I hate to use the word perfect but I'm very tempted. It really is excellent from carpet to headliner. The instrument panel, levers, vents, lenses, knobs etc is pristine. The ashtray and cigarette lighter has never been used. The upholstery, carpet, headliner, door panels are mint. The window cranks, seat belts and floor mats are like new. The original owner's manual is in the glove box. The steering wheel has no wear and is on a tilt column. The factory Am-Fm stereo plays clearly, original speaker. Nothing is modified. Has rally gauges, console and interior decor.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very well preserved, not messed with. #s matching 350 runs as smooth as silk. All original manifolds, distributor etc. Air cleaner assembly is complete and mint. Only the radiator and battery was replaced. The air conditioning was serviced and updated with R134 freon, it blows ice cold. It features power steering and brakes. All the components, wiring, fan shroud, hoses are excellent and look clean. Part of the sound deadener group includes hood insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pristine original. The metal is dry, has a perfectly preserved factory spatter paint. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are glossy, weatherstrip is still soft. The collapsible spare is mint, has original air bottle. The jack has never been used and is mounted properly. This car has the sound deadener group so the trunk mat is insulated and still like new.

UNDERSIDE: Completely original down to the spiral shocks. Absolutely no rot or damage. The floors are completely original and solid. The inner rockers still have the rubber flaps over the drain holes. Still has catalytic converter on the original exhaust. Vin # matching turbo 350 automatic. Original 3.42 rear end. Has disc brakes in front, e-brake assembly is complete.

This is a rare find. One of the lowest mile, best preserved 1978 Z-28s in the country. They are only original once!
