Ground up restored. Ps, pdb, 3.55 posi!

Completely restored in the late 90s, has a folder of receipts. It has proven itself, I thought I was buying a car that was just restored. That means it was done right and taken care of. I drove it home....awesome. it did everything right, I felt 100% confident.

EXTERIOR: Soutjern car: Georgia and Tennessee. I think the fit and finish is exceptional on this car, that is what really drew me to it to begin with. Very sharp looking Daytona yellow with black painted on stripes. It is straight from every angle. Everything fits square and flush. The doors shut like a new car even with the windows up. There's no signs of rust or damage. No bubbles, I felt all along the bottoms. Dressed up cowl hood, stripes and no ugly vinyl top. The door jambs are painted very nicely, bottom of the doors are real clean. Weather strips are in very nice shape. It looks like the trim has been replaced- the bumpers, correct antenna, emblems, wheel well moldings, tail lights, SS gas cap etc. The glass is tinted. Torque Thrust wheels- 15x7s in front, 15x8s in back. Good Year tires are extra meaty in back.

INTERIOR: Claimed to have the original upholstery in the car and it's in very good condition. The door panels, armrests and carpet have been replaced. It has original type rubber floor mats. The center console is in nice shape, has a Hurst shifter sticking out of it. Dash panel looks really nice- gauges are crystal clear, the knobs and vents all look good, new dash pad. It does have aftermarket tachometer on the column and matching gauges down below. The heater control panel looks real nice and the levers move freely. Overhead the headliner is tight as a drum, visors look new, the dome light works, it has the shoulder belts. In back it has correct mesh speaker tray, all the trim is complete around the back window. Has front and rear original seat belts.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 1968 396-325 horsepower motor with Hi Perf cast on the side of it. It was completely rebuilt and that hp would now be pushing closer to 400. Has itemized receipt listing everything from what pistons to valves. On top it has an Edelbrock Torker aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb and Unilite distributor. A set of headers let the exhaust out. Had Accel coil and plug wires that are neatly run. It's dressed up with a set of polished vintage style Mickey Thompson finned aluminum valve covers. It has an aluminum water pump. Shroud, radiator and hoses look like new. It features power steering, hoses look new and a power brake system that looks new. power steering hoses look new. The motor compartment is very tidy, all the metal is smooth and painted a satin finish. Has hood insulation on the bottom of the hood, the wiring is run neatly, the battery is bolted down and has new cable ends.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk floor, it has the rubber houndstooth mat. It also has a tire cover and a bag for the jack. The jamb and bottom of the trunk lid are painted nice. Has new weatherstrip and jacking instructions decal.

UNDERSIDE: Front end was rebuilt and the components look clean. In back the shocks look new and very possibly the springs. The bottom of the motor is still a clean Chevy orange, the fuel pump, starter and oil filter are all clean. The M-21 Muncie 4-speed was serviced. It has a Centerforce clutch and Hurst linkage. In back it has a 3.55 12 bolt rear end with a chrome cover. Great sounding 2 1/2 inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. It has disc brakes in front, E-brake cables are hooked up. The floors are real clean, solid metal under this car.

I am very pleased with this car's integrity. Fits, finish and function is real good. NOT a pig with lipstick!
