Real Marina blue SS with correct motor, trans & posi!

Factory born Super Sport, 4-speed, Marina blue with black bucket seats as indicated on it's original trim tag and vin number. Original metal, Kansas car all its life.

EXTERIOR: All original metal. Recently repainted it's original Marina blue, very desirable. The body is straight and fits really well. The doors shut real nice. There are no bubbles, damage or rust. The paint is laid out very nicely, polished to a smooth glossy finish. They did a nice job painting the jambs. The bumpers are rechromed, the bowtie mirror, door panels and emblems are new. Most of the stainless trim around the windows was replaced. The grill, rear tail panel and rocker mouldings are good originals. It has new windshield and rear window. The weatherstrips, window gaskets and window seals were replaced. It has an original set of SS hubcaps on black painted rims.

INTERIOR: Has new cushions in the seats so the new upholstery fits tight as a drum. New door panels, armrests, handles and window cranks. In front of me is a nice clean dash area, nothing cut or broken. New dash pad, new chrome bezel around the original radio. On the floor is new carpet and an original SS console. There is some pitting on the chrome. That is a rare shifter, correct for a Nova with a Saginaw 4-speed ($1,500). Overhead is a new headliner and visors.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 327-275 hp Nova motor. Correct casting codes and ZA suffix stamp. The motor was taken apart and inspected. The bearings cylinder walls, everything looked good. It was regasketed and treated to a fresh coat of Chevy orange. It has stock manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. The carb is upgraded with a new Holley. There is spotless metal in here. The factory pinch welds are clean, the metal is smooth and straight. I don't see any signs of damage or rust. It has a nice satin black finish. The bottom of the hood is painted, has insulation. It is detailed with reproduction stickers, hoses, and clamps. The battery is bolted down properly and has reproduction spring clamp battery cables.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk is clean metal. You can look up inside the quarters, there are no splices. It is the original trunk floor, rock solid. It was given a very neatly applied grey and white spatter finish. New rubber mat. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are glossy new weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it is still spotless, new starter. The correct Saginaw 4-speed was taken apart and serviced. The shift linkage was rebuilt with new bushings. It has a correct 10 bolt posi rear for a 1966 Nova with 3.55 gears. It was inspected and given fresh fluid and gasket. All original, clean rust free metal. It has purposely not been painted over. We want to the next owner to see there is nothing covered up, no patches or rot. It has new dual exhaust system. New fuel tank, straps and sending unit. The front end components are not new but look good. It has new shocks. The brakes were redone- wheel cylinders, shoes, recut drums.
