Butler Performance motor. Dialed in ready for show & go!
How about a 547 hp Butler built big block hooked to a 4-speed and a 3 inch exhaust to get you fired up! This brutte is actually a very well sorted car ready to drive anywhere. At 50 mph, 1,900 rpm it has over 80 lbs of oil pressure. It looks just as good- clean, straight and tidy throughout.EXTERIOR: No rust, all clean metal. We have photos of the car stripped down, the whole front clip was removed. It has the dual scoop hood. It's absolutely straight, everything fits right. Doors shut nice, windows line up. It's smooth even all along the bottoms. Repainted it's original Meridian turquoise. The clearcoat is polished like glass. The jambs were repainted nicely. Upfront the bumper was rechromed, the grill is in real nice shape. The moldings all around the windows and gutters are straight and shiny. The rear bumper has been rechromed. The windshield has been replaced. The door jambs are painted real nicely, weather strips were replaced. It has 15 inch American Racing polished wheels. In back a set of Mickey Thompson street radials grip the pavement.
INTERIOR: It has a deluxe interior with a rare fold down rear seat. It is in very tidy condition from carpet to headliner. The deluxe includes upgraded upholstery and molded door panels. On the floor the turquoise carpet looks new and it has embroidered floor mats. It also has new seat belts and there is a new Hurst shifter sticking up out of the hump. The seat upholstery and door panels are in excellent condition. The headliner and visors are excellent, the dome light works. The metal trim is all painted real nicely. The dash area is excellent: the center bezel, heater controls look new. It has a tachometer on the column and a gauge cluster mounted neatly below the dash. There's a retro stereo that fits right in the factory hole with 6x9 speakers in back. Upgraded three spoke cushion grip steering wheel. The bits and pieces are all nice- kick panels, inside the glove box, trim around the back window, mesh speaker tray etc. Interior lights work including in the glovebox.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor was pro built, blueprinted and balanced by Butler Performance, they are the premier Pontiac engine builders. Starting with a 455 block it is now a 467 making 547 horsepower and 592 lbs of torque!. We have complete spec sheet giving all the details of the motor. It was blueprinted and balanced. It has an Eagle rotating assembly with h-beam rods, flat top pistons, billet cam with a Butler custom grind, hydraulic roller lifters, etc. The heads are aluminum Edelbrocks that have been ported and has upgraded rockers, pushrods, valve springs etc. On top is an aluminium intake with a Holley 850 carb, MSD ignition and a set of Pontiac valve covers. Doug's headers lets it exhale. An aluminum water pump and radiator keeps it running cool. New wiring harness. Upgraded select-a-speed wiper kit. The metal is all smooth with a satin black finish. It features power steering.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean metal with a spatter paint that's been clear coated for maximum durability. It has a rally ll wheel for a spare. The weatherstrip and rear seat divider was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end was completely rebuilt and it was upgraded with some fat tubular upper and lower control arms, a heavy duty sway bar and a quick ratio steering box. The ball joints, bushings, shocks and springs have all been replaced. Frame connectors tie the front to the back. In back it has new adjustable shocks, split leaf racing mono springs, bushings and hardware. The bottom of the motor has an extra capacity oil pan and a high torque starter. The 4-speed is an M-20 Muncie. It has a complete 12 bolt rear end from Moser with highway friendly 3.08 posi gears and a chrome cover. Complete MP brake kit with front disc upgrade. The e-brake assembly is hooked up. Great sounding Flowmaster exhaust system with crossover pipe. The fuel tank was replaced. The floors are really clean original, uncut metal.
