Great conversation piece, people are intrigued by it.

From the Estate of William Grams, co-founder of the Volo Museum. He collected interesting novelty cars such as this one here. It certainly is intriguing to look at so it captures people's attention. It can be a conversation piece in any collection, it's a great promotional tool and just a lot of fun to putt around with.

EXTERIOR: Original metal hood, cowl, doors and fenders. The back of the cab, running boards and the box is wood. Painted black, not show quality but very presentable. It is decked out with nostalgic graphics. The vinyl top was replaced. It has step plates on the running boards. The wheels are upgraded to 1932 with a bigger hub with fat wide white wall tires. In front it has a chrome bumper, original Ford script headlights.

INTERIOR: They did a very nice job with pleated upholstery on the seat, door panels, headliner and the inside of the cab. It even has door pockets. The handles and crank were replaced. New carpet on the floor. The steering wheel has cracks in it's finish, the chrome instrument bezel is original. Most importantly I am 6' tall and fit in here with no problem.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original type 4 cylinder engine is painted up nice. It has original style distributor with brass wires, the carb has been cleaned up. The battery is relocated to the firewall and there is a disconnect switch.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The most nifty part of this truck is the Weaver Auto Crane assembly in the back. A steel structure with big iron gears, a winch and cable assembly is painted up to look new. It even has authentic square head bolts. On top is a set of safety lights: 1 red, 2 clear. It has a clever design: there are removable pins that allows you to fold the lights and crane down so it fits right in you garage. There is also an old metal toolbox. If you plan on getting in the towing business keep in mind it uses a hand crank!

UNDERSIDE: Good ole original underside. Not show quality but it looks solid, complete and proper.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
