1 of 728 Stage-1s! Frame off restored, rust free.

This is one of the 728 Stage-1s built in 1973, it's verified by the V in the vin #. This car underwent a body off frame restoration. It was rust free to begin with. During the restoration it was given a few upgrades to make it the ultimate. How about a 450 hp motor, a 4-speed and a power sunroof from ASC.

EXTERIOR: Rust free original metal. Is this straight as an arrow. The black paint has a mirror reflection. There are a few imperfections- chips on the hood and a couple small cracks on the roof. The jambs are repainted, weather-strips were replaced. The half roof is painted gloss white. A power sunroof was recently professionally added by ASC, they install sunroofs for GM. The bumpers are shiny but appear to be original. It has original glass. It has stock 15" Buick mags, trim rings look new.

INTERIOR: Original, unabused interior. There's no rips or tears. The white is a little dirty in the nooks and crannies, I believe it will clean up real nice. The door panels the same way, a little dirty but they're straight and not beat up, cracked or torn. The dash pad is excellent, there's no cracks. Headliner is new. It has a factory gauge cluster. It also has a Sun tachometer, oil and temp gauges. The owner's manual is in the glove box.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 1973 455 motor that was given a performance build. Estimated close to 450 hp. The engine is painted nice, has Stage-1 chrome valve covers. The air cleaner assembly is painted glass black and has stickers and heat riser tube. Features include power steering and power brakes. The wiper motor is replaced. It has the proper shroud and overflow bottle. The battery has a disconnect switch. The engine bay is gloss black.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Perfectly dry clean metal, it has a nice satin black finish. It has an F 70 15 polyglas tire and a Buick mag for a spare. The complete jack assembly is properly bolted in place.

UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame for a thorough restoration. The floors are immaculate and painted a smooth gloss black. Uncut original metal. The front end has been apart and rebuilt. Rear suspension was apart, new bushings and hardware. Upgraded Koni gas shocks all around. Disc brakes in front. The hoses and lines were replaced, E-brake cable is hooked up. Dual exhaust has turn down tips. The fuel tank was clear coated. Looking up at the motor it's clean, starter looks new. The Muncie 4-speed is believed to be an M-22. The linkage and clutch was replaced. In back it has a 3.42 posi.

This is a unique, very rare car. It also makes a great driver, take it anywhere!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
