#s matching motor, trans and rear. A body off frame restoration was finished by D & M Corvette in 2000. A collector owned the car with several others. He hardly drove his cars and kept them stored in a dry building. He recently passed and the collection was sold. This car was taken to a professional shop for complete inspection and service.

EXTERIOR: The body shows real well, I'm walking around the car and don't see any damage. The panels fit very nicely, the headlights open and close properly. The paint job goes back over 20 years and it's very bright red with a glossy finish. If you're looking for flaws you will find some but it presents itself real nice. Up front the bumpers and emblem have been replaced. In back the taillight assemblies were replaced, bumpers shine nice. New gas cap lid. The power antenna was rebuilt. It has an optional lift off hard top that's painted to match and overall in good condition. The white convertible top was replaced, it looks new. The knock off wheels still look new. The tires are brand new. New weatherstrips on pillars and doors. And of course it has side exhaust, my favorite part on the car.

INTERIOR: Very tidy and detailed. There's new firm cushions in the seats, new upholstery. The center console is real nice and has a Hurst shifter. The gauges were all restored. The speedometer head was replaced, upgraded quartz movement in the clock. The knobs look new. The correct radio looks like new and it works. Carpet was replaced front to back. Door panels were replaced, the window cranks and knobs are excellent. The dash pads are mint, there are some light scratches on the glove box door and couple cracks on the steering wheel. All new wiring harness throughout the entire car. New glovebox liner. Steering column was rebuilt.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin number matching 327-300 hp motor. The casting codes, dates and stamps all correspond correctly. The motor was rebuilt and runs smooth. The engine compartment is restored and detailed to factory new. It has the correct manifolds, carb, fuel filter, choke tube and dual snorkel air cleaner. It has upper and lower ignition shielding. Reproduction GM hoses and clamps. The clutch fan and shroud look new, it has the correct expansion tank. Spring clamp battery cables on the Delco battery. Replaced wiper motor.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. Underneath this car was completely rebuilt and concourse detailed. The chassis was disassembled, redi stripped and painted. All the suspension was rebuilt, steering box was rebuilt. Replaced fuel tank, sending unit and lines. Look up at the motor it is clean, it has correct canister oil filter. Starter and fuel pump look fresh. The vin # matching Muncie 4-speed was rebuilt, linkage was rebuilt. It has it's original date coded 3.36 posi rear. Recently a complete inspection was done under the car. Brake system was gone through, front calipers were replaced. Fuel system was flushed. First year for disc at all 4 wheels. E-brake is functional. The fiberglass floors are in the raw which is correct. There is no damage, it has complete spare tire carrier.

Nothing better than shifting gears in a red Vette roadster listening to the rumble of the side pipes with the top down. This is a good one to do it in. Frame off restored #s matching car!
