1,000 miles on body off frame restoration! Vortec motor, ps, pdb.

Only 1,000 miles on a frame off restoration just finished in 2020. We have pictures showing it down to a bare cab. Very desirable short bed 4x4.

EXTERIOR: I love the colors, it's refreshing. It's a factory color- medium green. The cab was stripped to a bare metal shell. The fenders, doors, hood and bed were removed, prepped and painted from all sides. It is straight, no rust. The finish is smooth and glossy. All the glass was out, replaced with new gaskets. New windshield. Upfront has new chrome bumper, grill, bezels etc. It also has new handles, emblems, wheel well moldings, mirrors, stainless trim and lenses. It has optional new chrome step bumper in back. The rally wheels and trim look new, each wrapped in Cooper tires.

INTERIOR: It was completely gutted and stripped to bare metal. The inside was painted green and white. The floor and back wall were lined with sound deadener. The instrument bezel was replaced. It has a new set of modern gauges that light up bright white. It has a retro stereo with auxiliary plug. New dash cap. New door panels including cranks, handles and armrests. Recushioned and upholstered seat. New seatbelts. New rubber mat on the floor. The Hurst handle is to switch it up to 4 wheel drive.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Upgraded with a more modern 5.3 Vortec motor. It has fuel injection and aluminum heads. The motor had 40,000 miles, it was taken apart and inspected before being installed. Along with it came the updated power steering, alternator, serpentine belt system. It has a custom intake tube and filter. The radiator, shroud, hoses look new and proper. The power brake system looks new. The squirters are hooked up, battery is secured, has horns.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The bed is straight with no damage or rust. It's painted glossy to match the truck. The tailgate has new hardware.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration. The floors are all clean metal painted a satin black. The chassis was all apart and restored. The frame is smooth,, not pitted. The steering and suspension components were all rebuilt or replaced. It has upgraded KYB gas shocks. The muffler and tailpipe are stainless. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. The brakes have been restored. It has disc in front, the hoses and lines were replaced. The spare tire and assembly is under the truck. It has an aluminum oil pan on the motor and a high torque starter. The Turbo 350 automatic was rebuilt with a shift kit. There are 4.10 gears in the rear end.

This a beautiful truck that you can drive. The updated motor, auto trans, power steering and brakes make it easy! The vintage look makes it fun.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
