Real GTX, 1 of 680 convertibles built total! Only 25% were 4-speeds.

680 made total and it is estimated that only about 25% were 4-speeds! This is a correct matching #s car. Original fender tag is attached and decoded, the car is as it was born. Very good, unabused car.

EXTERIOR: It says muscle with 2 hood scoops, a racing style gas cap, red streak tires on Magnum wheels. The body panels line up real nice, it's straight with no rust or damage. 20 plus year-old paint job shows very well. It is smooth and glossy but has minor imperfections. Original yellow color. Radial redlines on nice Magnum 500 wheels. Very good original chrome and trim pieces, bumpers were rechromed. The tail panel is excellent. Black power top is in excellent shape.

INTERIOR: Overall good, unabused shape. The seats and door panels have the western scroll strips. Door panels look new. The dash area is very good, not beat up, cracked or cut. Interior lights all work. Good carpet, original seatbelts front and back and the best part- a Hurst 4-speed sticking out of the hump!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original 440 Super Commando motor which makes 375 horsepower. The casting codes and dates lineup properly, it is stamped 440HP with a letter C which is correct for a 67. Upgraded Edelbrock intake and carb with electric choke. Factory chrome valve covers and dual snorkel air cleaner. The components look proper. It has power brakes, a chrome alternator, windshield washers are hooked up, it has both horns, a fan shroud. The engine bay is straight, clean metal. The fender tag is still attached.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid trunk compartment painted yellow like the car. Someone has cut a piece of insulation and carpet for a mat. It has a spare in the trunk floor and the jack is in the proper location.

UNDERSIDE: It appears to be rock solid. Original metal floors and frame rails. Suspension and steering looks to be in good, maintained condition. Factory style dual exhaust system has correct chrome tips. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, has the correct casting codes. 4-speed transmission cars come with a heavy-duty Dana 60 rear end. It has 3.54 sure grip gears and a chrome cover.

Rare and desirable! 440, 4-speed in a convertible sounds like fun. 1 of a few hundred made sounds like a good investment.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
