Meticulous rotisserie restoration!

Total rotisserie restoration. It was taken down to a bare shell and acid dipped. Completely restored from there with several upgrades. This is a high quality build. Same owner for the last 25 years!

EXTERIOR: It was taken down to an absolute bare shell and acid dipped. There is zero rust on the car. Absolutely straight, no damage and fits real nice. Painted by a local painter that has an outstanding reputation. The metal flake is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished like glass. The paint is several years old and looks like it was painted yesterday except for some chips it's picked up along the way. New windshield, original side glass has some scratches. All the chrome and trim was replaced. Emblems were left off for a clean look. All the weatherstrips and seals were replaced. Upgraded LED halo headlights and sequential taillights.

INTERIOR: Completely restored carpet to headliner. It's very meticulous. Embroidered mats on the floor, complete set of seatbelts in excellent shape. Seats were recushioned and upholstered. Door panels, armrests and handles were replaced. Dash area is completely restored- dash pad, bezels, etc. Headliner and visors look new. Upgrades include a modern stereo system, LED lights, a tachometer, Shelby style Moto Lita steering and a console. I like the console; it has padded armrest and cup holders.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original 289 was rebuilt and is now a 347 stroker making 400 horsepower. It has World Products heads, an Edelbrock kit which includes cam, lifters, roller rockers, intake, and carburetor. It also had MSD ignition and a set of headers. Tall aluminum valve covers dress it up. Every component looks new. The metal is painted glossy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted like glass. The entire compartment is painted. New mat and weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: Completely rust-free clean metal. It's all painted green, new grommets. Every component was removed and replaced or rebuilt. Upgraded polyurethane bushings and Koni gas shocks. The brake system was completely rebuilt, upgraded with disk in front. E-brake assembly is hooked up. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Great sounding dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and X pipe. Looking up at the motor it is spotless. Fuel pump, motor mounts and starter still look new. Rebuilt C4 automatic with a shift kit, 2600 stall converter and TCI finned aluminum pan. In back is a 9 inch rear with 3.91 posi gears.

This was a very impressive, meticulous build from a bare shell. No corners cut. The new owner will not be disappointed.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
