THIS CAR AND MANY OTHER ITEMS WILL BE SOLD NO-RESERVE DURING AN ON-LINE AUCTION BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1ST AT VOLOCARS.COM This Doc Hudson has Disney History. This is the actual car used by Disney to pull fiberglass molds off of to build the fiberglass race car that was driven by Paul Newman. A book was assembled featuring this history of the race car, which shows this car being used. After the molds were pulled, this car was also converted in a Doc Hudson. Since it is a Hollywood, the rear roof was modified to replicate the oval window of a Hornet. The car is also a hard top and custom side panels were made to replicate the window posts and windows of a Hornet. This car has been a favorite to museum guests since 2006 but it's now time to find a new home and bring joy to another part of the world. Runs and drives very well, the windshield is coated with see-through material, so you can drive it easily through a parade as is but would need to be removed for street use. Can't find your car?
