Real GS 400, #s match. Air, ps, pdb, 4 wheel disc!

Just purchased 3 GSs from a Buick collector. Bought new by a woman in North Carolina. Real GS, documented with Protect-o-plate, #s match motor, trans and colors. Has performance and reliability upgrades.

EXTERIOR: It has an excellent body. I'm looking down the sides and they are like mirrors. Has original 1/4 panels. All of the panels fit real square and flush. Painted it's original beautiful burgundy mist color. The metal flake is laid out evenly. The clear coat is polished to a glossy finish. In front the bumper has been rechromed, grill is in very nice original condition. Hood scoops, fender louvers, remote mirror are all very nice. In back the bumper looks like it's rechromed, the tail lights and tail panel are all very nice. The stainless trim around the car is good original condition. The vinyl top is excellent. The glass is excellent and windshield looks new. Has the correct 15 inch rally wheels with Buick centers. BFG tires look new. Door jambs are painted very nicely, the weather strips and sill plates have been replaced.

INTERIOR: Overall, it's in excellent condition. The seat springs and cushions feel good. Upholstery front and back looks new. The door panels appear to be in excellent original condition. Overhead the headliner is pristine, not even a wrinkle, matching visors. New mirror. Carpets have been replaced, GM seatbeltsare mint. Original dash area and console are very nice, the chrome sparkles, nothing's broken or beat up. Has a factory Am-Fm radio that works and deluxe steering wheel. Interior lights work under the dash, in the headliner and the console.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin # matching 400 motor. Upgraded with FiTech fuel injection system. Has upgraded fuel lines and pump, Edelbrock intake painted to match the motor. Also upgraded MSD ignition system including distributor, coil and 8.5 mm wires. Rebuilt alternator. New aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a polished overflow bottle, new water pump. Also features Factory air conditioning, power steering and a new power brake system with cadmium plated booster. The entire compartment is detailed and proper looking. The engine bay is all smooth metal painted a nice satin black finish. The motor is neatly painted. New wiring harness.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean trunk compartment. Good metal with a nice coat of grey and aqua spatter finish paint. New 2-piece rubber mat. Has a jack but no spare. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted very nicely. Weatherstrip looks new.

UNDERSIDE: Upgraded for better handling. 605 steering gear, lowered 2 inches, upgraded bushings. Front end is completely rebuilt. In back the suspension was upgraded with custom upper and lower control arms and swaybar. Upgraded brake system, has disc at all 4 wheels. Bottom of the motor is clean. Original turbo 400 automatic trans is clean. Has 12 bolt rear end with new Moser 3.36 posi and chrome cover. New fuel tank, sending unit and straps. Correct fuel pump in the tank for F.I. New dual exhaust system. Floors and chassis are very clean metal painted satin black. The bottom of this car is exceptionally clean with many new parts and upgrades.

Really, this GS is exceptional. Excellent in, out and especially underneath. The GS is verified in the vin, the cowl tag verifies the features and the protect-o-plate confirms the original motor and trans. From a collector I've known for decades, his cars are nice. You will be getting a great muscle car.
