Body off frame restored with a binder of documentation. A/C, ps, pdb.

This is an extremely rare Formula 455 4-speed car. It has been frame off, rotisserie restored and now has a 400 motor built to ram air lll specs. We have a binder of restoration documentation.

EXTERIOR: The body was professionally restored with new metal. The car was on a jig to make sure everything fits square and flush. It has it's original fiberglass ram air hood with new hinges. It was painted the brightest white available with a clear coat then polished to a slick finish. It has some typical hairline cracks in the paint on the rubber nose the headlight bezels emblems door handles rear window moldings rear bumper and taillights have all been replaced All the glass was replaced. New 15x8 rally ll wheels with Cooper tires.

INTERIOR: New bright red interior from PUI. New upholstery, door panels, headliner, dash cover, console and package tray. New black carpet was installed. The plastic pieces were repainted red. It still has it's original, functional Am-Fm 8-track stereo and we are even including a Fleetwood Mac 8-track from 1973. It has upgraded Vintage Air heat/Air controls. New Auto Wire wiring harness. B rally gauges are in excellent shape they all function including the clock is ticking has the original formula steering wheel and the glove box pouch with the manuals are in the glove box

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 1970 400 motor rebuilt by renowned engine builder Don Ewing. It was bored 30 over, has ram air lll cam, ram air exhaust manifolds, Holley intake and 670 Avenger carb with electric choke. It has functional factory ram air system. It has a Summit vacuum pump. New Vintage Air heat and a/c system, it blows ice cold. The motor runs cool with an upgraded aluminium radiator and dual electric fans and polishedoverflowbottle. Upgraded 100 amp alternator. New power steering, pulleys, brackets, battery, power brake system with cadmium plated booster, wiper motor, hood latch mechanism and new wiring.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All new clean metal with a nice grey spatter finish paint. The bottom of the trunk lid and a jamb are painted gloss white. It has a new mat, wiring, weatherstrip and decal.

UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it is clean, the starter and fuel pump look new. The Muncie M-21 4-speed was completely rebuilt- new synchros, bearings and seals. It also has a new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing and a Hurst Competition Plus linkage. Original 3.24 posi rear end. The exhaust system is from Summit, it has 2 1/5 inch pipe, crossover pipe and transverse muffler. New fuel system- tank, sending unit and lines. All new brake system- e-brake assembly, lines, hoses, calipers etc. It has disc in front. All steering, body and suspension bushings were replaced. New 2 inch lowering springs front and back. KYB gas shocks. The steering linkages, balljoints were replaced. The floors are clean metal, everything is nicely painted.

This is a unique, rare car. It handles and performs great. That ram air motor and a 4-speed is going to be lots of fun!
