Rotisserie restored. All leather inside, a/c, pw, p locks.
Extensive custom rotisserie restoration. I sold this car 10 years ago. It had 535 miles since restoration, now it only has 1,261.EXTERIOR: The body and paint are outstanding, especially being over 10 years old. I just closely inspected it and I don't see any problem areas. There's no cracking, no bubbles, everything fits square and flush. It was a clean body to start with. It still has factory pinch welds around the rear wheel well lips, the door edges are clean. It has a Cowl hood. The red paint is polished out like glass from the rockers to the roof. The SS stripes are decals and could be peeled off if you prefer all red. The door jambs are painted slick. The weather strips, sill plates and window seals were replaced. The windshield is new. All the stainless trim around the windows is straight and polished. It has a really nice set of 15 inch American Racing polished rims with BFGoodrich tires.
INTERIOR: When I say it has a leather interior I really mean it. Everything is wrapped in leather including the entire seats, door panels, dash pad, center console, steering wheel, all the trim around the headliner, rear side panels, speaker tray and even the speaker covers. It has a custom dash with VDO gauges and a Kenwood stereo. The door panel speakers have custom enclosures. The headliner is embossed and upholstered in tweed. Heat and a/c controls are on the console which also has a B&M shifter and power window switches. It has a toggle ignition system which is in the glove box. Custom short cut pile custom made carpet. The seatbelts were replaced. A LeCarra steering wheel is on a tilt column. It also features power locks.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: I open the hood see a lot of gloss red paint and polished components. That's a GM crate ZZ4 350-355 hp motor. It features forged crank, roller cam, 4 bolt mains aluminum heads and intake. It has an Edelbrock carb with electric choke, a set of headers and an MSD billet ignition system. The aluminum valve covers are inscribed the Heartbeat of America with matching plug wire holders. It has aluminum pulleys, chrome alternator, chrome a/c compressor. It runs cool with an oversized aluminum radiator and aluminum water pump and overflow bottle. It has a Vintage Air heat and air conditioning system. It has a modern power steering with a billet remote reservoir. The power brake booster and master are chromed. The hinges are chrome, it has premium stainless braided dipsticks for the motor and trans. Stainless steel hardware was used.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed, the walls are all wrapped in genuine leather. The floor is carpeted, bottom of the trunk lid is done in tweed. There is a CD changer and also an aluminum box for the relocated battery. The weather strip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath this car is the same gloss red as on top. The entire chassis and subframe was dropped out of this car. The floors were clean, dry original metal. They were so clean it was decided to paint them gloss red. The front end was all apart, rebuilt with replacement bushings, ball joints, springs, shocks etc. Control arms and subframe were painted gloss red. The rear suspension was removed. The springs, shocks and bushings were replaced. It has front and rear upgraded swaybars. Looking up at the motor it is painted red, has a high torque starter and chrome flywheel cover. The Turbo 350 automatic has a chrome oil pan. The red driveshaft leads back to the red rear end with an aluminium cover. It has a Flowmaster dual exhaust system. The fuel system was replaced. The brakes were rebuilt, it has disc in front.
This is a sexy car like a Camaro version of a Ferrari in bright red and tan leather. It's a show and go. I know one thing is for sure- it would cost a lot more to build then what you can buy it for done!
