Meticulous rotisserie restoration! Stunning looks.

Only 1,459 miles since a meticulous, body off frame, rotisserie every nut and bolt restoration. It was restored with a lot of pride. The gentleman I purchased it from has owned it the last 34 years. He spent countless hours making this car as close to perfect as he possibly could. He had a hard time letting the car go, it was an emotional day. We have a folder of detailed restoration invoices. The body shop that did the bulk of the work was $47,308.
Gorgeous colors and desirable features.

EXTERIOR: This is one tough looking body style, the front end looks so aggressive. We have pages of detailed invoices that describes the amount of attention that went into making the body fit and look better then new. It was all apart then reattached to the frame while the make every panel fit square and flush. The door hinges, latches and window regulators were rebuilt. It was then taken back to a bare shell and flipped on a rotisserie. It was sprayed in an epoxy primer. Then it was given a knock out Hugger orange paint job that is polished like glass. All of the chrome is redone, stainless is polished. It has new glass. New white power top. The convertible frame was apart and painted. All the weatherstrips were replaced. It has great looking billet Rally ll wheels with Nitto performance tires.

INTERIOR: It was taken back to brand new condition. The seats were recushioned. All new upholstery, plastic trim and chrome. New door panels, armrests and handles. On the floor is new GM seat belts, carpet and console. In front of me is a restored dash area with factory gauge cluster, quartz clock, new heater control panel and machine turned insert. The dash pad was sent to Just Dashes and made like new again. Every thing behind the dash was restored too. We are willing to install a retro radio in the factory hole or give a credit if the buyer wants something different.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 455 performance built motor with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake. Edelbrock carb, MSD ignition system, Hedman is a March billet bracket and pulley system with serpentine belt. The a/c compressor is polished. The heater box was taken apart and restored to function and look like new. BeCool aluminum radiator and electric fans keep it cool. Features include power steering and brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rock solid metal with a new coat of spatter finish paint. The well liner and weatherstrip are new. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the car.

UNDERSIDE: The chassis was completely disassembled. The frame and suspension parts were powder coated gloss black. It was put back together with all new or rebuilt parts- bushings, ball joints, shocks etc. It has the F-41 suspension which includes swaybars and boxed rear control arms. Bottom of the motor is clean, starter looks new. The Turbo 400 was rebuilt by B&B performance, new torque converter and chrome pan. The driveshaft was powder coated. The rear end was completely rebuilt with a Richmond kit and new Auburn posi gears. It was stripped and painted black. A custom fat exhaust was made with x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Then it was sent out to be ceramic coated and given chrome splitter tips. All new fuel system including tank, pads, straps, sending unit and lines. All new upgraded SSBC brake system with slotted discs at all 4 wheels, new brake lines. New one piece floor was installed like the factory did it then painted a gloss orange. Under this car is gorgeous.

In 1972 there was no such thing as a GTO convertible. The Lemans Sport took it's place and I think it's one of the best looking cars from the muscle car era. At first glance I knew this one was premium. The fit and finishes top to bottom are amazing. Here is an opportunity to benefit from someone else's hard work.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
