Original paint & interior! 32,794 actual miles, 1 owner most of it's life

Extremely rare unrestored survivor SS! 1 owner until recently. It has 32,794 actual miles which are documented as actual on the title. Other documentation includes: Original invoice, punch card, glovebox pouch with owner's manual and warranty booklet. In 1972 the block was replaced by Curry Chevrolet under warranty and it is documented. So many times I've been told it's a factory warranty replacement block, this is the only one I've ever seen that is documented. I think it's pretty cool and adds to the character and story of this car.

EXTERIOR: Very desirable Dusk blue and it is almost all original! Only the very lower part has been resprayed. It fits real nice, doors shut like new. Of course it's going to have chips and scratches. Original glass is very clear, windows line up great. The white SS decal stripe is new. It has original antenna, and T-3 headlights. The stainless trim is straight and shiny. The bumpers, taillights, handles shine bright. Original SS wheels and the Wide Oval tires look like they could be originals too. The weatherstrips and window seals are very good originals.

INTERIOR: Aside from a split in the lower seat cushion it is in excellent original condition inside this car. The rest of the upholstery and door panels look great. The headliner and visors are mint, the domelight works. It has a complete set of original seat belts. The center console is very good and has a correct Hurst shifter with chrome ball. The instrument panel, heater controls, gauges are all very nice. It has it's original Am-Fm stereo with with kickpanel speakers. The steering wheel is not cracked.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 325 hp was standard, this has the optional 350 hp. The block was replaced in 1972 by Chevrolet, we have the documentation. It still has it's original heads and manifolds. It even has correct fuel filter and the smog system is still hooked up. It has reproduction GM hoses, clamps and cap. There's also a Delco battery topper. Features include power steering and power brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Something you hardly ever see is original spatter paint and this car has it! So obviously it is original uncut metal too. No rust. Original trunk mat, weatherstrip and jacking instructions decal. It has an SS wheel for a spare with an original Wide Oval tire, also complete jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it was neatly painted Chevy Orange. Correct M-21 close ratio Muncie 4-speed. Original 12 bolt with 3.55 gears. There is no rust under this body. All original clean floors, braces, inner rockers etc. They were recently cleaned and given a light coat of black paint, they look new! The front end was completely rebuilt- bushings, shocks, etc. In back it has new springs and air shocks. The brakes were serviced, has disc in front. The e-brake is hooked up. A correct exhaust system was installed, has cowbell tips.

They are original only once! We find grandma's car with low miles and original. Rarely does an SS 396 with a 4-speed survivor become available, they were to desirable to let sit around. Here is your chance.
