Early 50's Fords continue to gain popularity with the new generation of collectors.  These late Flathead powered Fords were some of the most reliable and thrifty cars on the road when they were new.  Compared to the heavier Buicks and Oldsmobiles, the 1952-1954 Fords often scored better gas mileage, thanks to tastefully understated brightwork and more conservative proportions.  Best of all Ford made noticeable strides in auto styling with the Crestline models, which is the chief reason why they've continued to be desirable over half a century later.
