Ground up restored! A/c, gauges, clean metal.

Fresh ground up restoration. Possibly the most desirable muscle car- a 70 Chevelle convertible with SS package, correct 454, factory air and great colors! I drove this car home last week and I just got back from an hour drive today. It's comfortable, reliable, drives straight, functions like it should. Top down, 85 degrees- I didn't want to come back!

EXTERIOR: Certainly can't beat a red 70 Chevelle convertible with white stripes, well actually you can if you add some big chrome wheels like this one has! Going around the body it looks really clean and straight. Smooth all along the bottoms. The paint has been polished very glossy from head to toe. SS stripes are painted on correctly. Door jambs are painted nicely, bottom of the doors are clean. It has new weather strips and window seals. It looks like the chrome and trim has been replaced. Upfront the bumper, lenses, emblems are new. It has new hood pins, the stainless on the back edge of the hood are new. Moldings around the wheel wells, mirrors, door handles are new. In back the bumper has been rechromed, new emblem, tail light lenses and the SS pad. White convertible top looks new, has glass window. Staggered size chrome Torque Thrust wheels are wrapped with performance tires. 18s in front, 20s in back.

INTERIOR: The pearl white interior has been completely reupholstered- seats, door panels, headrests, armrests. Also the seat backs and the chrome trim were replaced. The center console is excellent. The whole dash area looks new- the instrument panel and chrome outlines, lenses, gauges, dash pad, ashtray. It has factory tachometer, the clock is ticking. It has a tilt column with a new deluxe steering wheel. It also has a new retro stereo.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is an actual 1970 high performance 454 engine with "512" casting. Dated Feb 4th 1970. Same block used for LS-6, very sought after. This one is a 454-390 hp from a 1970 Corvette. It is upgraded with an Edelbrock intake painted orange to match the engine. It has a dual feed Holley carb with electric choke. Looks like a new distributor and wires. It's detailed up real nice with new reproduction valve covers, air cleaner, stickers, Delco battery topper etc. It features factory air conditioning, looks like it has some new parts and has been updated to 134a freon. It also features power steering and brakes. New cadmium plated booster and new master. New clutch fan, proper shroud, washer bottle is hooked up, has hood insulation, plastic grills in the cowl. Everything looks proper and tidy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Overall solid trunk, it's been spatter painted. It does have a jack and a space saver for a spare. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth and glossy red. It has reproduction stickers and new weatherstrip. The well liner has been replaced.

UNDERSIDE: It has the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars and boxed control arms. The front end has been recently completely rebuilt. All the bushings, ball joints, springs, shocks, hardware. It's all painted up and detailed nicely too. The rear suspension looks like it's been rebuilt- sway bar bolts, bushings, shocks and springs. Looking up at the motor and transmission it is very clean. The Chevy orange motor is fresh, the oil filter and starter looks new. The transmission lines look new and they're neatly run. The turbo 400 transmission was rebuilt. The linkage, vacuum modulator, flywheel cover, speedometer cable look new. 12 bolt rear has new 3.73 posi gears. The exhaust system looks recent and has Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel tank looks new. Brakes have been redone. Upfront it has disc and it looks all new. E-brake cables are hooked up. The metal is so clean, it appears to be original. Not just the floors but the inner rockers and lower inner quarters are clean original metal. I don't see any patches.

This is a great example of a highly desirable car! Literally ready to turn key and enjoy, I did!
