Pontiac had big news for 1954: The introduction of the Star Chief line. The Star Chiefs rode on a 124" wheel base and featured an overall length of 213.7". The additional 11" length was in the back, which gave the trunk enormous capacity. They were only available with Pontiac's venerable straight eight engines, further improved for it's final year with an increase in horsepower.This handsome example was formerly owned by a National President of AACA, who owned the car for many years. The car has received an AACA award for Originality. The exterior has had a repaint, while the leather interior is original and very presentable. The car is in excellent driving condition with all new suspension, rebuilt engine and generator, and retrofitted electric fuel pump. It has a new Firestone wide whitewall tire set.
