Fast & Furious 7
Get ready to take a moment to remember a beloved actor who helped make the Fast and Furious franchise what it is today. The Volo Museum has a car on display that is sure to bring back memories of the late Paul Walker, and pay tribute to his life and career. This Subaru is a unique piece of movie history. Used in one of the most incredible stunts ever performed in the Fast and Furious franchise, it was donated to Universal Studios for the filming of Furious 7. Of the six Subarus donated, only this one survived, making it all the more precious. This car was rigged with squibs to simulate being hit by live rounds and was dropped out of an airplane from 12,000 feet, guided by GPS, and landed on a mountain road where it pursued and took over a fully weaponized bus to rescue Ramsey. The scene was intense, and the car took a beating, shot full of bullet holes and eventually crashing into the side of a cliff.
But it's not just the car's story that makes it special. This was one of the last cars that Paul Walker was filmed driving during the Fast and Furious franchise that helped make him a household name. His untimely death in a car crash in 2013 shocked the world, and this car is a poignant reminder of the impact he had on the film industry and his fans.
The car has been restored to its former glory, but it's not just a vehicle that looks good on display. It's a testament to Paul Walker's legacy and his dedication to the Fast and Furious franchise. This car, donated by Subaru, was brand new, with just over 200 miles on it when it was used in the movie. It's a reminder of how Paul Walker's passion for driving and his love of cars helped make the Fast and Furious franchise what it is today.
So, take a moment to remember Paul Walker and his contribution to the world of film and cars. Come to the Volo Museum and see this incredible car, which pays tribute to a man who touched the hearts of so many. It's more than just a car; it's a symbol of the joy that Paul Walker brought to the world and the legacy he left behind.
